IDAGIOClassical music focused streaming service IDAGIO is now available in North America. The Berlin based startup also announced that it has secured a funding round of 10 million EU ($11.7M USD) from existing investors. Classical music accounts for as much as 40% of global recorded music revenue.*

IDAGIO has subscribers in more than 130 countries and added 250,000 users in 2018. The app has been downloaded 500,000 times. It has yet to launch in  China and Japan.

Searching complex and overlapping classical music catalogs can be a problem on traditional streamers.  IDAGIO says they've solved that problem with better data, curation and proprietary technology.  Users can compare more than 290 versions of Beethoven’s Seventh Symphony, for example.
