Ads from more than 400 brands including Coca-Cola, Verizon and Starbucks vanished from Facebook yesterday after last-ditch talks to stop a boycott over hate speech failed.

The NAACP and Color of Change are among the respected advocacy groups calling for a July boycott of Facebook advertising under the umbrella Stop Hate For Profit.
