Free tracking app Playlist Alert adds Apple Music

The Playlist Alert iOS app sends real-time alerts when songs are added to playlists. Since 2021, the popular free app has focused on adds to thousands of Spotify editorial playlists.

Now app developer Kieron Donoghue, who also founded independent Humble Angel Records, has added Apple Music editorial playlists to the Playlist Alert Spotify integration.

The app also monitors viral and country charts globally and includes a built-in Apple Watch integration.

Donoghue founded Playlists.net and playlist brand Topsify, which he sold to Warner Music in 2014. After spending three years at Warner Music as VP of Global Playlist Strategy & Curation, he left to found the record label and develop the Playlist Alert app.
