Grant Applications Now Open for Family Alliance in Music Support

The FAM Support Grant is open now through December 1, offering $25,000 in funding to help individuals and small businesses balance caregiving responsibilities while working in music.

FAM is committed to creating a music industry where professional success and family well-being coexist.

Family Alliance in Music’s Support Grant is now open to apply through December 1, offering $25,000 to help individuals and small businesses navigating caregiving responsibilities while working in music.

Based in Nashville, Tennessee, FAM believes that through building community, providing education and resources, and offering financial support to parents and caretakers in the music industry, they can create a healthy industry where caring for a family and pursuing a career in the music industry do not have to be at odds with each other. In other words, this wonderful grant was created to make sure no one has to choose between their career and caring for their loved ones.

Whether it’s fertility assistance, caregiving support, or relief for touring professionals and small music businesses, the FAM Support Grant is there to help mitigate complicated times. Family Alliance in Music is an dedicated to supporting music professionals as they navigate the challenges of caregiving, parenting, and family life. This grant is made possible thanks to the generosity of EqualizeHer.

Family Alliance in Music was founded by Margaret Hart, Jackie Jones, and Haley Montgomery in 2022. They have a combined 40 years experience in the music industry, and understand first hand the unique challenges of being parents in this industry. FAM is supported by an incredible task force including caretakers, parents and those who wish to have a family one day working in the music industry.
