He will be based in New York with a focus on label relations including the key markets of Los Angeles, New York and Nashville.Stapleton most recently served as SVP of digital partner development at Sony Music Entertainment, where he held numerous roles since joining company in 2006. He previously served in a management consultancy role for various financial service companies with Accenture.Stapleton holds a law degree from the University of Glasgow and studied music management at City University in London and will report to Amazon Music’s director Ryan Redington.
