eMarketer predicts a growth rate for Amazon of 17.7% year over year. Earlier this week, eMarketer's data dive showed that Spotify would surpass Pandora sooner than expected in the US.
Like Apple Music, Amazon Music is subscription only, which means more revenue for artists and labels than Spotify or Pandora's ad supported services. Amazon has, however, fallen behind its rivals in both user customization and tools and analytics for artists.
