A major update to Twitter's #Music app adds music discovery features called 'Charts', and along with it come genres to help users find music relevant to them. But apparently #Music users don't care about jazz, classical or world music.
The genres listed on the #Music genre page are: alternative, hip hop, country, metal, dance, pop, electronic, rnb, folk and rock.
Obviously missing are jazz, classical and world music. A case could also be made for Americana (or is that country and/or folk), new age (world?) or a number of other genres that do not fall under the 10 in #music.
