Apple Plans Major Announcement September 1st. Music Appears Part Of The Mix

Apple just issued invitations to a special event Sept. 1st. Speculation is that a 7" iPad and Apple TV will top Jobs' agenda.  But the photo dominating the invite is an acoustic guitar with the soundhole modified to form Apple's logo  So in case you're memory is less than perfect, for the last few years Apple has used early fall events to introduce new iPods and iTunes upgrades to drive holiday shopping.
