This Friday, February 6th, Bandcamp, the world’s largest online music marketplace and community, kicks off the first Bandcamp Friday of 2026.
After generating over $19 million for independent artists in 2025, Bandcamp Friday returns with the same artist-first initiative. As you probably know by now, on designated Fridays (see below for 2026 schedule), Bandcamp waives its revenue share, ensuring that artists and labels receive the maximum revenue from their sales during those 24 hours.
The most recent Bandcamp Friday in December 2025 alone generated over $3.8 million, and now in its sixth year, Bandcamp Friday has become a cornerstone of independent music support. What began during the COVID-19 pandemic as a short-term initiative has evolved into an ongoing movement that has generated over $154 million for artists and labels worldwide.
