Popular musician web site platform Bandzoogle has acquired Onesheet for an undisclosed sum. San Francisco based Onesheet, which provides musicians and entertainers with quick single page social sites, was founded by serial entrepreneur Brenden Mulligan. Bandzoogle says it will keep Onesheet as an independent product and relaunch it soon.
With the acquisition, Bandzoogle is working to diversify the tools it offers independent artists to build and manage an online presence. "Onesheet is a great product that tens of thousands of artists and entertainers
already use. For artists whose major focus is creating content on their social networks, Onesheet is the fastest, easiest and free way to create a permanent, mobile-friendly web presence" said David Dufresne, Bandzoogle's CEO.
"The Bandzoogle guys have been leading the charge in helping musicians set up their own website for as long as I've been in the music business," said Onesheet founder Brenden Mulligan. "There is literally no better home for Onesheet." Mulligan also founded and in 2010 sold, gig-posting tool ArtistData to Sonicbids. His current project, Cluster, is an app that creates collaborative photo albums.
