German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung reports that Bertlesmann financial chief Thomas Rabe has acknowledged that discussions were underway with Sony, but that the focus was "not about a disposal".
According to Rabe, Bertelsmann is working with Sony to "financially optimize the joint venture". Are more staff and roster cuts part of the plan?
