By Dave Brooks of Amplify Held at the Montage Beverly Hills in Los Angeles on Nov. 14 and 15, the Billboard Touring Conference & Awards boast a huge talent roster, including Reggie Watts, Diplo, Lil Dicky and more. It will also introduce its first-ever Hip-Hop Power Panel, featuring some of the genre’s top executives from major talent agencies including UTA, Paradigm, Live Nation and London Entertainment.John Amato, president of The Hollywood Reporter-Billboard Media Group, says the conference’s mission is even more relevant in light of recent acts of violence that have compromised the sanctity of live music events. “While we cannot make sense of these senseless acts of violence, live music remains a bedrock of our culture and will continue to serve as a common thread of inclusiveness and celebration,” he says. “I’m proud that Billboard continues to bring together the touring community to commemorate the spirit and significance of live music.” The Billboard Touring Conference & Awards will honor legacy artists, breakout stars, record-smashing tours and powerhouse venues across the country. The Legends of Live award is Billboard’s highest accolade in the live entertainment space, recognizing professionalism and steadfast commitment to the art and craft of live performance. With it, McGraw and Hill will be honored for their professionalism and devotion to the art and craft of performance across their careers.Meanwhile, Lil Uzi Vert will also snatch the Breakthrough Artist award, and nonprofit advocacy group Everytown for Gun Safety will take home this year’s Humanitarian Award.Find more information about the Billboard Touring Conference & Awards here, and see the full list of finalists and honorees below.Billboard Touring Conference & Awards Finalists and HonoreesLegends of LiveTim McGraw and Faith HillHumanitarian AwardEverytown for Gun SafetyBreakthrough ArtistLil Uzi VertTop TourColdplayGuns N’ RosesU2Top DrawColdplayGuns N’ RosesU2Top FestivalCoachellaStagecoachOutside LandsTop ArenaMadison Square Garden, New YorkO2 Arena, LondonT-Mobile Arena, Las VegasTop Venue – Under 10,000 SeatsAuditorio Nacional, Mexico CityThe Axis at Planet Hollywood, Las VegasRadio City Music Hall, New YorkTop Venue – Under 5,000 SeatsThe Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Las VegasFox Theatre, AtlantaOrpheum Theatre, MinneapolisTop PromoterAEG PresentsLive Nation EntertainmentOCESA-CIETop Independent Promoter WorldwideAnother Planet EntertainmentFrontier TouringMercury ConcertsTop AgencyParadigm Talent AgencyCreative Artists AgencyWilliam Morris EndeavorConcert Marketing & PromotionBruno Mars Paint the World Gold Campaign for 24K Magic TourKhalid Summer #F21xMusic Digital and We Are Forever campaigns for Forever 21Lady Gaga’s “Dream Ticket” promotion with Verizon for her Joanne World TourTaylor Swift’s Super Saturday show with AT&T and Swift-curated channel on AT&T’s DirecTV Now streaming-TV serviceFoo Fighters Cal Jam and North American Concrete and Gold Tour with Capital OneTop ManagerJeffery AzoffPat CorcoranScooter BraunTop Comedy TourDave ChappelleAmy SchumerJerry SeinfeldTop ClubThe Fillmore PhiladelphiaHouse of Blues Boston9:30 Club, Washington, D.C.Top AmpitheaterBB&T Pavilion, Camden, N.J.Hollywood Bowl, Los AngelesNorthwell Health at Jones Beach Theater, Wantagh, N.Y.Top BoxscoreGuns N’ Roses, London Stadium, June 16-17Phish, Madison Square Garden, New York, July 21-Aug. 6U2, Stade de France, Paris, July 25-26Related articles
