According to TMZ, several fundraisers and political operatives associated with the Democratic Party have approached music manager Scooter Braun because they see him as the most viable candidate for the Governor of California. Other contenders for the office include Lt. Governor Gavin Newsom and former L.A. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.Braun has made no formal announcement about a candidacy, or even hinted that he may run, but has been active in Democratic political circles for the past year, most notably as a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton, TMZ said.Braun also made some political hay after he gave an emotional and rousing speech at Ariana Grande's One Love Manchester benefit concert in June.
