In addition to better sound quality, HD radio means more channels and thus more opportunity for
innovative programming. But so far little innovation has surfaced.
But Philly’s Skin Radio is taking a bold step forward combining an HD broadcast on the long forgotten AM dial with a webcast of an alternative rock format aimed straight at the tech loving younger demo.
Do under 30’s even know there is an AM dial? If they find out; it opens up a world of possibilities. (more)
