Live Nation Entertainment has named Jordan Zachary to serve as the company's Chief Strategy Officer. Zachary joins from The Raine Group, a merchant bank that advised Live Nation on a number of recent deals including the C3 acquisition.MORE:

Merlin, the global rights agency for the independent label sector, has hired Christopher Tarbet in the newly-created position of Technical Operations Manager.

Tarbet joins from Rightster (formerly Base79). 

Mitra Darab has been named SVP of Marketing for Capitol Music Group (CMG). In her new position Darab will head the "Vine" group within CMG that encompasses Marketing and Digital, and will directly liaise with the company's Promotion, Sales and Publicity teams in formulating comprehensive plans for CMG artists and releases. Artists under the purview of the Vine team include Sam Smith, Five Seconds Of Summer, Tori Kelly and The Dream. Darab is based in Hollywood, California in the company's iconic Capitol Records Tower.   Darab is a 19-year music industry veteran, most recently serving as Vice President of Marketing at Warner Bros.
