• Paula Woollatt has joined PledgeMusic in London as Head of Manufacturing & Fulfilment UK/EUR. Paula comes from the Warner Music Group. At Pledge, she will be responsible production and fulfillment of the thousands of direct-to-fan and pre-order campaigns that the company is now launching each year.
• Simon Barbanis joins Universal Music UK compilations division UMTV as Managing Director. He joins from Sony Music and replaces Adam Corke, who is npw VP Commercial Affairs for UMG International.
• Phil Cialdella is the new COO at independent music publishing house Atlas Music Publishing. Cialdella was previously SVP of at Cherry Lane Music Publishing and ran his own Wonderlous Music.
• Joe Jonas has inked an exclusive, worldwide publishing agreement with Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG).
• UMG Nashville Chairman and CEO Mike Dungan will be “roasted and toasted” as the Wild West Comedy Festival and the T.J. Martell Foundation join forces for their 3rd Annual Ambassador of the Year Roast. The event will be held on Monday, May 16, at Zanies on 8th Ave in Nashville. Doors open at 5 p.m. Doc and Scott McGhee and Royce Risser are rumored to be sharpening their rhetorical spears.
