Rock icon Chuck Berry had a surprise for his fans on his 90th birthday when he announced that he was releasing his first album in 38 years.

Set to be released on Nashville's Dualtone label next year, details about the album are few, but a statement released by the label said it will consist mostly of new material written and produced by Berry and recorded in his hometown of St. Louis.
