After a free trial period, all Cricket customers can subscribe to Deezer for just $6 per month – $4 less than Spotify, Rdio, Rhapsody and other premium services. The lower price is not being promoted as a limited time discount. Deezer will discontinue Muve Music service on February 7th offering existing Muve customers an extended free trial when they switch to Cricket’s new GSM network.

Launched in 2007, Deezer is a privately held company, headquartered in Paris with offices in San Francisco. By most measures, Deezer ranks #2 globally after Spotify offering digital music streaming service in more than 180 countries with 16 million monthly active users and 6 million paid subscribers worldwide.
