France based global streaming music service Deezer entered the U.S. market late last year with Elite, a hi-definition audio streaming service offering 35 million tracks in lossless FLAC (1,411 kbps), four times the maximum of most music streamers. 200,000 U.S. subscribers have signed up in the last four months paying $20 per month, according the company.

Now Deezer is taking Elite global via the Sonos wireless audio platform. Starting March 19th, Deezer Elite will be available outside the U.S. for the first time via Sonos in Europe, Latin America, Asia-Pacific and Canada. Sonos and Deezer are offering a number of incentives to encourage sign up and conversion from Deezer premium to Elite.

Deezer is available in 182 countries and claims 16 million monthly active users, with 6 million paying for an ad free paid plan.
