Founder Tim Westergren still has a lot to smile about. Despite an ongoing controversial battle to lower royalty payments and increasing pressure from Google Play Music All Access (I cringe every time I type that unwieldy name…), iTunes Radio and elsewhere, Pandora is actually have a pretty good year by at least one important measure. Though some analysts wonder if Pandora will ever be profitable, nothing has stopped investors from buying Pandora stock at ever-higher prices.
