Disk Makers is now manufacturing 40,000 protective coronavirus face shields per day, the company told Hypebot Friday. Just last week, the CD, vinyl and music physical goods manufacturer pivoted to making protective face shields in response to the COVID-19 crisis. Disc Makers saw normal demand drop and heard of the shortages in medical supplies quickly pivoted to making protective face shields for medical testing and other uses. “Our goal is to help as many people on the frontlines as possible while also keeping our staff working during this crisis,” said the company.
