Distrokid has added Snapchat to its list of music distribution outlets.
The new Snapchat distribution service is free for all DistroKid members.
Snapchat, which has more than 265 million daily active users that send 5 billion posts (“Snaps”) every day, recently launched a new feature called Sounds on Snapchat that lets users easily add music to Snaps.
Here is how to get your music ready for Snapchat:
- New music: Select the “Snapchat” checkbox when uploading music to DistroKid
- Old music: Sign into DistroKid, click your release, then click “Add to more stores.” If you don’t see “Snapchat” listed there, congrats you must’ve already added it when uploading.
