DistroKid distributed artists now get instant access Spotify for Artists, bypassing the usual approval process. This includes a blue verification checkmark on the artist's Spotify page, as well as full access to the free Spotify For Artists toolkit and analytics platform.

"Normally, to get access, there’s an application process with Spotify. And a waiting period — which may or may not prove fruitful," says DistoKid founder Philip Kaplan.
"Starting today, if you’re a DistroKid artist, you’ll now be instantly verified by Spotify and given access to S4A. This is exclusive to DistroKid and we’re the only distributor that can provide this (free) service."
