Dove Award Nominees 2016 – A Complete List

The Gospel Music Association announced the nominees for the 47th Annual GMA Dove Awards with American contemporary Christian singer Lauren Daigle leading the flock. Daigle earned six nominations, including nods for Artist of the Year and Contemporary Pop Album of the Year.Hillsong UNITED and Chris Tomlin with five both earned five nominations, including Artist of the Year (Hillsong United) and Worship Song of the Year (Tomlinson.)Anthony Brown, Bill Gaither, Danny Gokey, Jonathan McReynolds, Kirk Franklin, Matthew West and Tasha Cobbs tally four nods each. Songwriter Jason Ingram scores seven nods, including “Song of the Year.”The awards show will take place on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Lipscomb University’s Allen Arena in Nashville at 6:30 p.m. CST.
