StubHub which facilitated $400 million worth of concert, sport and event ticket sales last year has been acquired by eBay for $310 million. I always hate it when good indie companies get bought by giants, but it’s a validation that some Web 2.0 companies do generate real revenue and helps democratize ticketing for fans.
