EMI confirmed that it has reached outside…way outside…of the music business to name Elio Leoni-Sceti as the new head of its record division. The executive is known as a bit of a turnaround artist, but his previous experience includes stints at household goods manufacturers Proctor & Gamble and Rekitt.
