eMusic has launched eMusic Radio in beta. The new services offers curated online music streams to subscribers. Each non-interactive stream is curated by a member of the eMusic editorial staff and includes major label and indie product. The 21 eclectic streams include:
- Hearts On Fire: The Underbelly of Soul & Country ("For decades the genres of soul, R&B and country, with their straight-from-the-gut, heart-wrenching songwriting, existed in the shadow of rock's exuberant monolith.")
- Bass, Beats & Bars ("Hip-hop's spectrum is broader than ever, with a scene in every city and a thousand ways to control a mic.").
