Bandzoogle CEO David Dufresne has exited the company and will join direct to fan music platform Bandcamp as the Head of Strategy & Growth. Dufresne had been with Bandzoogle since 2010.

Bandcamp has become the go to direct to fan sales and marketing platform for tens of thousands of indie musicians and indie labels. Even as Topspin and other D2F services have fallen in and out of favor, Bandcamp has quietly iterated and improved its offering. There had been no formal announcement form either company and Dufresne announced the change on his personal Facebook page.
