image from www.hypebot.comThe 2018 Grammy Awards saw Bruno Mars take home all six awards that he was nominated for including the trifecta of Song, Record and Album Of The Year, and Jay Z, the most nominated artist of the night, go home empty handed.  Judging from the nominations, this should have been rap and hip hop's big year at the Grammys, but Mars forgot to get the message. Kendrick Lamar’s album “Damn” won the Grammy for Best Rap Album, making it his third consecutive win in the category. He also picked up trophies for Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song and Best Music Video. Chris Stapleton won Best Country Album; and the Best New Artist went to Alessia Cara.Held at NYC's Madison Square Garden, the Grammys were hosted by late night tv's James Cordon.
