Gigwell Opens Its Booking Toolbox to Artists and Independent Promoters

Gigwell has launched free tools that help independent artists, agents and promoters create booking documents, calculate show costs and settle gigs.

The paperwork behind a gig can be intimidating when you are booking your first tour or putting on your first show. What goes in an offer? How do you calculate the break-even point? And what should the settlement look like when the night is over?

Booking software company Gigwell has launched a collection of free tools to help artists, managers, new agents, venues and promoters answer those questions. The tools cover much of a show’s administrative life, from making an offer to calculating the final payout.

The available tools include builders for artist offer sheets, performance contracts, hospitality riders and technical riders. A show profit calculator estimates ticket revenue, costs and break-even attendance before a booking is confirmed, while a settlement generator helps turn sales and expenses into a final report. There is also a radius clause generator for drafting the geographic restrictions that sometimes accompany a show offer.

For an independent artist doing their own booking, the appeal is practical: a rider or contract no longer has to begin with a blank page. For a small promoter, the profit calculator offers a way to test a proposed guarantee against expected ticket sales before committing to it.

Gigwell CEO Jeremie Habib said the company built the tools for people learning the business without an established agency behind them:

"The people who need a structured offer sheet or an artist settlement report most are the ones who can least afford advanced, industry-specific tools."

The live tools page also lists an AI contract reviewer as available. It accepts pasted or uploaded agreement language and suggests questions about missing or unusual terms. Gigwell says its contract and radius clause tools do not provide legal advice, so users should treat their output as a starting point for review, especially when money or exclusivity is at stake.

An AI offer assistant, tour router, artist fee estimator and venue operations assistant are marked as coming soon. Gigwell’s paid platform remains the option for teams that want to manage contacts, calendars, contracts, payments and show logistics together. For anyone handling one booking at a time, the free tools offer a place to start.
