It will be interesting to watch how the RIAA, Google, and the general public responds to this hard to trace but still illegal activity and how the courts interpret it.  In the Grokster decision P2P’s were held liable because they encouraged and enabled illegal downloading.  But with search technology providing convenience and an extra layer of anonymity. it’s how not to imagine that the service won’t be heavily used.
