Grammys To Be Broadcast Live Nationwide For The First Time

In the age of Twitter and social media, live anywhere is live everywhere. Succumbing to that reality, the Grammys are making delayed broadcast optional for the first time ever.

The Grammys have announced that CBS will offer its stations in Mountain and Pacific time zones the option to air the awards show at 8 p.m. ET, along with the rest of the U.S.

The awards show had been tape delayed in some time zones after being recorded The Staples Center in LA. Participating stations in the Pacific time zones will also rebroadcast the Grammys after the live broadcast.
