The cofounder of shuttered music streaming service Grooveshark is dead at age 28. His girlfriend found him on Sunday in the apartment they shared in Gainesville, Florida. There were no obvious signs of foul play, suicide injuries or drugs, according to the Gainesville Sun.
Lori Greenberg, his mother, said that Josh was more relieved than depressed that Grooveshark's long legal battles were over. “He was excited about potential new things that he was going to start,” she said.
Greenberg had launched Grooveshark with co-founder Sam Tarantino as 19-year-old freshmen at the University of Florida in 2006.
