This is just the beginning of an idea…
To honor and encourage the creative pioneers that are moving the music business forward, we’re creating the annual (working title) Hypebot New Music Business & Technology Awards. (The Hypey’s?) We’ll do it in the summer or early fall when folks have more time to make more informed choices and to avoid the end of year Top 10 clutter.
For starters we’d like your suggestions for categories. We don’t to have a million of them. Just enough to hit the various niches. major, indie, d.i.y., web sites, blogs(?), viral marketing… are just a few ideas to get things started.
