(UPDATED) At the moment, I'm working my way through Clay Shirky's new book Cognitive Surplus: Creativity and Generosity in a Connected Age
and I'm enjoying it very much. This talk provides a great outline of the ideas that he expresses in the book. Though at first, it may not seem directly related to the music industry, think of what he talks about in terms of the overall development of the social ecology of music culture online and the great things that could be created.
