We expect Spotify to announce the addition of short-form video today from a number of established music and non-music partners. MTV, Comedy Central, Time Inc., Tastemade, Maker Studios, Fullscreen and Vice are among the partners mentioned in a variety of reports.

Unconfirmed reports also surfaced in recent days of a new feature dubbed Spotify Now. While the CNBC report was short on details, Spotify Now will apparently be more interactive (think Songza?) than the current Spotify and suggested the likely inclusion of  a fitness element.

It is unclear if Spotify Now will be announced today, is actually just the name of or related to the new Spotify streaming video service or is a new separate feature.

Confused?  All will become clear later today.
