MARKETING MANAGER, NEW MEDIA

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop & implement all digital marketing initiatives for all label projects
– Write and execute artist/project marketing plans
– Collaborate with DSPs for promotional opportunities & key placement of releases on respective services
– Secure promotional opportunities on all major music/entertainment outlets (AOL Music, MTV.com, MSN Music, etc.)
– Work closely with webmaster for all site updates, ecards, etc.
– Solicit artist features, interviews & album reviews on third party sites/blogs/my Space
– Oversee maintenance & updates on label portal site & artist sites
– Coordinate online marketing initiatives with all internal departments to maximize utilization of all available tools
– Encode all audio & video for online use
– Responsible for uploading digital artwork to Media Warehouse
– Manage departmental audio & video streaming data
– Generate weekly New Media report
– Compile & edit copy for weekly label email newsletter
– Develop and research online advertising plans
– Track digital sales across all DSPs
– Oversee all departmental administrative issues
– Process all invoices for new media dept

REQIREMENTS:

– Should be proficient in most audio and video encoding applications
– Previous music industry experience
– Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access and Outlook
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills, required.
– Strong organizational skills, required.
