>>> First a question: Do your care about Hypebot’s daily briefing?  Or does your RSS feeder and other sources already give you all the Music 2.0 breaking news that you need? It’s time consuming and takes energy away from research and analysis, but I want to give readers what they want. Please let me know in the comments section below.

‘s subscription music service to its list of options. (USAToday)

  1. yes, the daily briefing is good, i tend to check it before digital music news. don’t try to brief on EVERY story, if that’s time consuming, pick 5 headlines that are important. quality over quantity

  2. absolutely, bruce. the first thing i do when i wake up in the morning is check out what news you, coolfer and the daily swarm have caught that i may have missed. essential reading.

  4. a lot of the briefing feature does overlap, but i enjoy your insight and analysis the most when it comes to the music biz blogosphere.

  5. We dig the briefing, too, and run a similar feature at our music licensing site (immediate RSS updates and irregular review emailed overviews).
    Keep up the great work!

  6. dude, your analysis is where it’s at. I have daily updates from everywhere, I feel like I have to sift through that to get to your real deal. if it was just analysis, I woudl come to you more. I think coolfer has an edge over you guys because that’s where glenn focuses his energy

  7. Yes please keep it up. I check it for thoughtful, prudent notes on happenings I may have missed. Thanks

  8. Hey. I agree with the other guy. I just read Lefsetz and just one other wire with music filtered. You overlap with the wire really, if you want me to be honest – same stuff. I just started reading you, but I need the longer pieces to make me think. But Lefsetz and some other analysts have opinions like that – the rest is garbage.

  9. I’d like to chime in under the “yes” column too. Yours is the first feed I’ve regularly subscribed to merely because I’ve browsed many others and not found the content and insight to be worth signing up for. It’s the first thing I read in the office and a great daily survey of the changing industry landscape.

  10. For me… it’s great. For someone else, it’s quite likely a nuisance. That’s the Nature of the Net and frankly, it’s the choice of each person to get it or not. But I like it a lot… it’s very helpful.
