TOO MANY SITES. TOO LITTLE TIME.

In the new music industry landscape, musicians must maintain relationships with fans across a growing number of social networking sites. Keeping up can be a full-time job, forcing artist to spend more time online than making music. ArtistData works to solve this dilemma, enabling users to post info on any site in their network through a single interface.

Their free service allows simultaneous updates at Eventful, Jambase, MySpace, Pollstar, PureVolume, ShowClix, VIRB as well as just added Last.fm, Mojam and Musi-cal. ArtistData will soon ad updates to AmieStreet, Buzznet, Beta Records, Famecast, indie911 and Hoooka.

More plus video demo after the jump…

The beta version of ArtistData also includes a feature called Local Listings which enables musicians to effortlessly submit their show information
to local newspapers and other media directly through the ArtistData
interface.

“It’s a great time to be a musician because there are more resources
than ever before for artists to use to promote their music. However,
the availability of all this exposure is both a blessing and a curse,
because it requires artists to regularly post identical information
from one site to the next,” says Brenden Mulligan, the president and
co-founder of ArtistData. “We aim to fix that.”

ArtistData plans to build upon its simultaneous synchronization in the
coming months, adding new tools for blog, news and profile management.
