EMI Ups Angelica Cob-Baehler To SVP Publicity N.A.

EMI Music has promoted Angelica Cob-Baehler to SVP, Publicity and Creative Services for North America.   She will be based in Los Angeles and will report to Howard Handler, who was recently appointed EVP and Head of Marketing for EMI Music in North America.  She now oversees publicity and creative services efforts EMI Music and associated label rosters in the US and Canada.

Senior Vice President, Publicity and Creative Services for EMI Music’s
Capitol Music Group in the US, and prior to that was Senior Vice
President of Publicity for Virgin Records.  Since joining EMI in 2006,
she has played an integral part in the careers of artists such as 30
Seconds to Mars, A Fine Frenzy, Katy Perry, Iggy Pop and the Stooges,
Joss Stone and KT Tunstall. 

Previously, Ms. Cob-Baehler had been Vice
President of Publicity for Columbia Records for five years, responsible
for the label’s west coast publicity unit.
