Thumbplay To Expand Indie Mobile Services

Mobile content provider Thumbplay is adding to the toolkit that it offers indie artists and labels.  In the coming month the company tells Hypebot that it will:

• launch a new artist widget platform to drives mobile downloads
• enable artists to upload and sell MP3s and videos
• provide tools for labels and managers to control multiple artists
