Although SONGboost’s music promotion tools were withdrawn from the marketplace at the end of 2007, development of expertise and software continued. The acquisition will add to Music Xray's
product line designed to help song owners measure, market and grow demand.

From the press release:

Mike McCready, CEO of Music Xray said: “The designs, software and expertise that Bruce brought to the table through SONGboost is enabling Music Xray to skip a generation of design and development.”

Bruce Warila added: “I am excited to see the evolution of SONGboost live on within Music Xray. The Music Xray platform enables us to realize the value we created; the SONGboost SONGpages have become Music Xrays and our feedback tools are becoming Music Xray’s forthcoming song review and song submission engine.”
