Artist services platform ReverbNation has incorporated SoundOut's crowd sourced song reviews across it's platform. “Emerging artists are often looking to have their music heard and reviewed,” says Jed Carlson, President and Co-founder of ReverbNation. “And SoundOut provides that objective feedback through our Crowd Review product".
The partnership will also leverages SoundOut’s relationships with major record labels and radio groups across the North American and the UK, enabling the best-rated ReverbNation artists to access a range of commercial opportunities. "Now that the product is launched," says Carlson, "we’re building out unique opportunities for Artists who receive favourable reviews.
SoundOut analytics is powered by 300,000 music consumers who rate and review new music. Results are normalized and compared against SoundOut’s proprietary database of 10 million track reviews. Then results are compared to other tracks already tested to provide objective ratings of comparative quality and consumer appeal across 43 genres.
