Flesh Roxon Combines Zombie Games With Rock Music For A Mobile Blast

Zombie-flesh-trip"Horror punk from hell" trio Flesh Roxon not only appear in a mobile game but they've now got a game of their own. A Flesh Roxon update to "Zombie Road Trip" gives players a branded Flesh Roxon zombie-killing vehicle accompanied by two Flesh Roxon tracks. But this was just a prelude to the release of "Flesh Roxon's Zombie Rock," a game that lets you kill the zombified band members before they eat you while songs from "Flesh To The Bone" play merrily in the background.

Dotted Music has a two-part take on their client Flesh Roxon's recent experience with mobile games. The band's aesthetic is well-matched by their "Zombie Road Trip" update for iOS and Android and their own "Flesh Roxon's Zombie Rock" for Android.

Zombie Road Trip featuring Flesh Roxon!

Last month the Flesh Roxon Update to "Zombie Road Trip" was released. Both the update and the "Zombie Road Trip" games are free but you have to Like the group's Facebook page to get the update.

You can get a pretty good idea of what's up from the trailer above. There's a Flesh Roxon-themed vehicle and a chainsaw launcher gun that are ideal for zombie killing, if you catch my drift.

Soundtrack: "Lonely Rider" and "Suck My Chainsaw" from "Flesh To The Bone."

Dotted Music's Andrew Apanov informed me today that Flesh Roxon have gotten over 70,000 Facebook Likes and counting in the first three weeks of the campaign.

Flesh Roxon's Zombie Rock

Flesh Roxon then followed the "Zombie Road Trip" appearance with the release of their own game, "Flesh Roxon's Zombie Rock."

The game was developed in partnership with EXM Games and Dotted Music designed the graphics:

"It is a deliberately primitive and straightforward arcade shooter, where a player kills zombies by tapping the screen in order to survive. You can pick new weapons, and beer to fix your health (you didn’t expect us to keep banal health kits, did you?)"

"The three zombie characters inside the game are the members of this Live Nation Finland-signed band, and the gameplay is accompanied by songs from Flesh Roxon’s debut album, Flesh To The Bone. The bandmates don’t mind to be killed virtually, just in case."

This is a nice example of a coordinated release of related but separate game projects.
