The Unsigned Guide Releases Free Guide To UK Music Funding Opportunities For Emerging Artists

Essential-unsigned-guideThe Unsigned Guide provides an online directory and educational resources focused on the needs of up and coming artists in the UK music industry. They recently released a free "Essential Guide To Music Funding" that presents informaton about funding opportunities in the UK. Bonus articles on crowdfunding campaigns and PledgeMusic projects make this guide worth a look for artists elsewhere as well.

The Unsigned Guide has a wide-ranging directory and resources for musicians wanting to work their way into the industry in the UK. It seems like it would also be of use to those outside the UK if one is planning tours or marketing campaigns for the region.

I discussed an earlier download from The Unsigned Guide's "Free Advice" series titled "Tips From A Start-Up Guide For Musicians" that introduced some basics of the music biz for those just getting started.

Recently they released an "Essential Guide to Music Funding" that's available for free download upon request.

The guide features such unique UK opportunities and organizations as:

Musicians Benevolent Fund

Arts Council England

PRS For Music Foundation

BPI

Creative Industry Finance

Transmit Start-Up Loans
