Avicii’s “Wake Me Up” Passes Imagine Dragons As Spotify’s Most Streamed Track Ever
Avicii's "Wake Me Up" has become the most streamed track ever on Spotify with more than 200 million plays, passing "Radioactive" by Imagine Dragons' 183 million streams. The song has been streamed on Spotify an average 850,000 times per day since its release.
Avicii’s hit was the fastest song ever to reach the 100 million streams landmark in September 2013. The top ten cities streaming the song the most are; Stockholm, Oslo, Gothenburg, London, New York, Madrid, Malmö, Barcelona, Copenhagen and Los Angeles.
