Uber Adds Another Music Partner: Live Nation

image from allthingsd.comRide share service Uber is doubling down on music as a sales driver. First there was a deal to have your Spotify playlist blaring as you took your ride. Now, thanks to a deal with Live Nation, concert-goers can request Uber rides directly through their Live Nation app.

image from www.celebrityaccess.comThe new integration of Uber's service within Live Nation's updated iOS and Android apps offers a way for concertgoers to order rides to and from events complete with time and cost estimates for all Uber requests, as well as an auto address feature for each venue to simplify the process of setting up a ride.

In addition, Live Nation will be establishing special Uber pick-up/drop-off zones located close to main entrances of Live Nation Amphitheaters to provide for faster entry into concerts.

New Uber users are eligible for a $30 discount on their first ride and the companies plan to work together to offer additional incentives to those who use the app. – via CelebrityAccess

  1. “Now, thanks to a deal with Live Nation, concert-goers can request Uber rides directly through their Live Nation app.”
Or – they could just use the Uber app like they normally do. How is that special?

  2. So Uber who don’t give a toss about the drivers have struck a deal with Live Nation who don’t give a toss about the artists. Well at least the money you lose on ticket. booking and credit cards fees can be saved on the ride home.
All we need now is a Spotify deal and put all these bogus companies in the same sex pit….
    oh that’s already happened
