Berliant & Varner Exit Collective, Launch Revelation Management with Red Light
Industry veterans Jordan Berliant and Jeff Varner have exited The Collective to launch Revelation Management Group a new artist management firm which is operating as a division of Red Light Management. Also making the move from The Collective is music promotion executive Mark Gorlick, along with day-to-day managers, Jodi Emond and Stephanie Hernandez.
Revelation Management Group’s client roster includes Asonia, Beta State, Billy Talent, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Fenech Soler, Godsmack, Slash, Staind, Stone Temple Pilots and The White Buffalo.
Berliant joined The Collective in 2008 as a partner and headed up their music management operation and managed clients including Linkin Park, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Staind. Prior to joining The Collective, Berliant ran the day-to-day operations for Allen Kovac’s management company, Left Bank, which later become Tenth Street Entertainment.
Varner, with more than 20 years experience in the industry, joined The Collective in 2009 and while there, managed Slash, Godsmack, The Plain White T’s, Stone Temple Pilots, The White Buffalo and others. He was instrumental in the creation of numerous marketing campaigns connected with albums and tours, with companies such as Apple, Fender, JVC Electronics and Jaegermeister. Prior to joining The Collective, Varner served as GM of North America for 10th Street Entertainment.
“We are very happy to be joining Red Light and equally excited to keep the core of our great management team together,” remarked Berliant. “We feel that our new partnership affords our clients with the best possible platform to succeed in a landscape that is filled with change and disruption. We are convinced that the combination of our attention and focus on detail, strategy and innovation, along with the strength and resources of Red Light, is a winning formula for artists.”
"We’re very excited about the formation of Revelation Management Group and our partnership with Red Light Management,” said Jeff Varner. “Having a company that allows us to work with such great artists as well as good friends and colleagues is something very special. I look forward to continuing the amazing work we've been able to achieve together and am eager to explore the new opportunities that this partnership will provide. – via CelebrityAccess
