Berliant & Varner Exit Collective, Launch Revelation Management with Red Light

image from www.celebrityaccess.comManagers are the centerpieces of most artists' careers; and their importance has only grown as record label dominance has waned.  This week, two top managers decided it was time for a change.

Industry veterans Jordan Berliant and Jeff Varner have exited The Collective to launch Revelation Management Group a new artist management firm which is operating as a division of Red Light Management. Also making the move from The Collective is music promotion executive Mark Gorlick, along with day-to-day managers, Jodi Emond and Stephanie Hernandez.

Revelation Management Group’s client roster includes Asonia, Beta State, Billy Talent, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Fenech Soler, Godsmack, Slash, Staind, Stone Temple Pilots and The White Buffalo.

Berliant joined The Collective in 2008 as a partner and headed up their music management operation and managed clients including Linkin Park, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Staind. Prior to joininred light managementg The Collective, Berliant ran the day-to-day operations for Allen Kovac’s management company, Left Bank, which later become Tenth Street Entertainment.

Varner, with more than 20 years experience in the industry, joined The Collective in 2009 and while there, managed Slash, Godsmack, The Plain White T’s, Stone Temple Pilots, The White Buffalo and others. He was instrumental in the creation of numerous marketing campaigns connected with albums and tours, with companies such as Apple, Fender, JVC Electronics and Jaegermeister. Prior to joining The Collective, Varner served as GM of North America for 10th Street Entertainment.
