SXSW Launches SXSW On – A Free On-Demand Original Content TV Network

Splash Screen Image SD-640x427pxIf you wish you were headed to Austin next week for the 27th annual South By Southwest (SXSW) festival but can't make the trip, you don't have to miss the action. Roku, YouTube, and SXSW.com are bringing the best of SXSW to you through SXSW On. 

SXSW On will run for the duration of the 10 day festival, offering stay at home fans a festival goers look into live performances, keynote speakers, industry panels, interviews, and other original content. The free, on-demand streaming network will highlight the best of original music, independent films, emerging technology, cuisine, and gaming culture in an effort to deliver the look, feel, and spirit of SXSW to audiences around the world. 

The streaming video channel, viewable on Roku and online via SXSW.com and SXSW’s YouTube channel, will be intermittent through the first part of the event and will then be 24/7 from Wednesday March 18th through Saturday the 21st.
