Apple MusicApple fought back this afternoon, saying that the 48% percent retention rate reported by a new  MusicWatch survey which Hypebot published earlier today, was incorrect. and stating that 79% of users who signed up for Apple Music are still using the service.

But while pushing back on retention in a statement to The Verge, Apple did no dispute any of the survey's other findings.
